TESTIMONIAL: Every person has a story to tell; This is my story.

Before you read: I made this Testimony One Year Ago. November 20, 2009. And Looking back, I still uphold all the words I put into it. Happy Reading. :-)

Many people have dreamed, and they take the challenge to pursue that dream. I tell you, if you have a dream… FIGHT FOR IT; do not let anyone tell you that you don’t deserve those dreams.

We are not given the power to dream without the power to make it come true. We are the product of our thoughts. What we habitually think, we will become.

Warren Rafal is a simple idealistic Ilocano at age 19 at that time. A Nursing Student, Amateur Businessman (failed in business twice – so awful to mention).

I was truly inspired by Robert Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad Poor Dad. The book was introduced to me by a Pastor I met when I am a Student Council President in our University. I am not a bookworm and I hate reading a book with no picture, but the book strikes my inner values, I was opened to an opportunity I never recognized throughout the years.

I became a fan of Robert Kiyosaki since then, but I was surrounded by industrial age mindset. The “Find a Safe Secure Job Theory” was the number 1 thinking of my Family, and stay there until you retire at age 65. That was great for my parent’s perception but that is not the person I want to be. I want to be a Philanthropist but the “HOW” part is yet to be solved.

All the great man on earth. They believe in their self, in their decisions and leave aside those who don’t share their point of view. They demonstrate such confidence in their ideas that the fear of failure, which follows the others, retreats. They refuse to stay in one line with mediocrity. They refuse to act according to what is said to be done.

Opportunity travels in a speed of light. Catch now or never. Successful people are preparing themselves to catch when the windows of opportunity opens, while loser are busy chasing the lost opportunity. Time change, the best formula yesterday may not be the best formula today. What your parents told you to DO may not be the best option and decision. Because you are already living in a different world, different from the world they used to live.

I know that nothing will happen in my life until I make it happen…As my Coach said “Why not learn to look at every opportunity as it arises in our life, and say to yourself these ten words; IF IT IS TO BE… IT IS UP TO ME. The go out, take immediate action, and conquer the moment.”

I met the community online, The day I was so depressed cause by my failed businesses. While browsing my email, I read a mail inviting me to see a business community at ca2020.net. The invitation came from the only yahoogroup I have, that is the National Union of Student in the Philippines (NUSP@yahoogroups.com), a student council officer alliance.

Since then, I became active in the said website and continue to enhance my knowledge about Financial Education through the discussions and blogs of fellow online members. I was empowered and inspired by the Charter, Mission and Vision of the Community; it was so noble that I want to be part of making it happen.

I declared to Mrs. Berna Moldez that I want to become part of the core team who run the business community. But as I expected, the process of becoming a core is not that easy, requirement are heavy plus the point that I am still 19 years old; 4th year Nursing Student.

Now, I made a declaration for myself and the community, immediately after graduation, I will be in Manila to pass the final requirement to become part of the Core.

Going to Manila to meet with people I only know in the Virtual internet was one of greatest fear and uncomfortability I’ve ever encounter in my whole life, but also one of the best decision I’ve ever made.

“It is better to cross the line and be caught than to stand still in your place for the rest of your life” – RULE OF PATINTERO

If you never risk, you never learn… LIFE = RISK

Most people live and die with their music still unplayed. They never dare to try.

So I JUMP in the water, I will never learn how to swim unless I jump in the water.

Opinions and advises from people who are dear to me was my greatest obstacle and difficulty. They don’t want me to grab the opportunity because they don’t want me to be in danger, because they loved me. But like a bird that are always in the nest will never learn how to fly.

I hardened my knees, I strengthen my heart and I step my feet… I tried…

When I came here in Manila, I don’t have any but TRUST to this so called Create Abundance Business Community. Now, I am a living testimony to the Integrity and Strength of my Beloved Community.

“There is a point in your life where everything can change or stay the same… It is called a DECISION”

I met the first Core Team member at Coffee Shop in Makati and the rest was History.
